As part of its efforts to build partnerships with key tour operators and attract visitors in line with Ajman Vision 2021


As part of its strategy to highlight Ajmans unique tourist attractions and promote its tourism potential at a local, regional and international level, the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) welcomed Natalie Tours, a leading Russian tour operator, along with a number of its annual top selling tour agencies, on Tuesday, May 30th.

Through organising the promotional FamTrip, ATDD aims to increase the awareness of Ajman and highlight its wide range of diverse tourism offerings, as well as enhance engagement, cooperation and bilateral relations with Russia who are a significantly important market for both the UAE and Ajman.


The FamTrip is held in conjunction with host partners Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort, the Fairmont Ajman, as well as the Destination Management Company Alpha Tours.


Site inspections at a number of Ajmans leading hotels, such as the Kempinski Ajman, Ramada Hotels & Suites, Ramada Beach Hotel and the BAHI Ajman Palace have also been arranged to showcase the variety of sublime hotels offered in the destination.


As part of the FamTrip program, the delegation was introduced to the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah, the Al Zorah Golf Course & Al Zorah project, on Wednesday, May 31st, followed by a trip to the Ajman Museum, getting one step closer to Ajmans deep rooted heritage, culture and history.

The ATDD Director General, HE Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, welcomed the group for dinner at the Ajman Saray in the evening, to highlight Ajmans role as a welcoming family and leisure destination and to strengthen the relationship, whilst discussing further strategic partnerships with the owners of Natalie Tours, as well as Alpha Tours Managing Director, Adnan Aridi.


Commenting on the program, Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry said, We are delighted to welcome Natalie Tours and their top selling agents to Ajman. The FamTrip program is part of our strategy to promote the Emirate of Ajman as a unique tourist destination and provides a platform for our strategic tourism partners to experience what Ajman has to offer. As one of the worlds fastest growing tourism markets, Russia is an important market for us and I am confident that Ajmans superior hospitality facilities, resorts and hotels, will continue to attract visitors from Russia.


The FamTrip program is in line with the strategic objectives of increasing visitors to the Emirate ahead of Ajman Vision, which, through showcasing a number of Ajmans major tourism projects and services, aims to make the Emirate one of the worlds top tourist destinations. The FamTrip also comes in line with the ATDDs ongoing participation in regional and international trade shows and initiatives, which serve to raise the profile of Ajman as a unique destination on the world map, and follows its participation in the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT) earlier this year, during which it was agreed to host this very important FamTrip.

The ATDDs figures clearly demonstrate that the number of Russian tourists for 2016 increased by more than 200%, in comparison to the previous year, highlighting Ajmans popularity and high demand.


The FamTrip will allow us to strengthen our relationship with Russias leading travel and tourism agencies, enabling us to harness strategic trade relationships and promote the Emirate and its world-class tourist sites, services and attractions. We are honoured to invite Natalie Tours to experience the spirit of Ajman, which is reflected in our destination brand Sincerely Emirati, and sample the true spirit of modern Emirati hospitality. Our mission is to instil the image of Ajman as an emirate with rich tourist, natural and cultural components, helping us to raise the profile of our unique tourist destination and increase the number of visitors in the future, he added.


On their final evening yesterday, the delegation gathered at the Fairmont Ajman for a farewell Iftar dinner, concluding the end of the FamTrip.
