Berlin – UAE Ambassador to Germany Jumaa Mubarak Al Jeneibi launched Wednesday the web site of Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) on the sidelines of ITB-Berlin, with ATDD General Manager Faisal Al Nuaimi attending.
ATDD leads Ajman delegation to the ITB-Berlin; the leading international tourist exhibition, for the second consecutive year. Ajman Chamber, Ajman Saray, Kempenski-Ajman Hotel, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, Ajman Beach Hotel, Ajman Palace and Al Zorah resort are members of the delegation.
The launch of ATDD web site is the first stage in Ajman Web Portal project that will include an e-calendar for Ajman events, a detailed map of the emirate's tourist attractions, hotel establishments, travel agencies and a media centre, Al Nuaimi said.
www.ajmantourism.ae will be keen on contacting all stakeholders via several means, the most important of which is an Arabic web domain that would provide all expected services, ATDD general manager added.
Ajman Web Portal project includes two other phases; said Al Nuaimi, clarifying that the second will centre on smart phone applications, while the third focuses on e-services in the sectors of licensing, classification and inspection, among other tourist-related services.
Meanwhile, ATDD set up a permanent heritage corner in the UAE Embassy HQ, presenting samples of Ajman Museum items.
